Dead Sea Scrolls

In 1946, two Bedouin herdsman came across a small cave along the western shore of the Dead Sea. In it they found an assembly of clay amphorae containing ancient manuscripts dating back to the time of Christ: the greatest document discovery of the 20th century.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are shrouded today in mystery and wonder - however, their contribution to history and our faith is actually quite interesting and helpful. In this video series we explore the story of their discovery, the writings the Dead Sea Scrolls contain, and what they reveal to us about the nature of the Holy Scriptures and the society in which Jesus lived.
